Crystal Gel
Transparent Effect on Glass
Light Effect on transparent surfaces
Crystal Gel is a uniquely formulated water
based gel that creates three dimensional
multi texture glass effects on any
transparent surface. With extraordinary
range of colors, the possibilities are endless.
A plain old glass vase can transform
into one of a kind beautiful work of art.
Crystal Gel can be spackled onto a transparent
surface and dramatic texture and
designs can be created by cutting into the
wet gel with a modeling knife or brush.
Instructions
1) Apply Crystal Gel smoothly over the
surface using a modeling knife.
2) Create designs by cutting into the wet
gel using any shaping tool.
3) For stenciling: Place self adhering stencil
on to a clean surface. Using a modeling
knife, fill the opening with Crystal
Gel. Carefully remove stencil and let dry.
4) Drying time: About 3 to 4 hours. Time
may vary depending on the thickness of
application.
Tip: Place your favorite gems on wet gel.
The gel is a great adhesive!
This vase was decorated using the dapping
technique with a sponge and Crystal Gel (Ruby)
while still wet we used a modeling brush to
make the design and pushed square mosaic
mirrors around the top of the vase
