<strong>November</strong> <strong>2011</strong><br />
> As Editor-in-Chief together with my colleague Professor Catherine Lacombe<br />
this will be our last edition of the EHA newsletter. We have thoroughly enjoyed our<br />
time with the newsletter and hope that we have made a worthwhile contribution. We<br />
would like to thank the EHA office for all their help but particularly Petra Stork and<br />
more latterly Ineke van der Beek. Petra was a guiding hand in the early years of our<br />
editorship and we are very grateful to her. We would also like to thank Jim Cogan for<br />
his wonderful cartoons.<br />
The EHA has grown from strength to strength over the last five years and the annual<br />
meeting and education book now rival the American Society of <strong>Hematology</strong>. We<br />
would like to wish the incoming editors Professor Irene Roberts and Professor Tony<br />
Green well. We are sure they will do a wonderful job and bring a new and different<br />
flavour to the newsletter. With best wishes.<br />
