LEgAL WEddIngS Legal Weddings in Tahiti are carried out at the mairie (city hall) by the Mayor (or an appointed representative from the Mayor’s Office). The ceremony is performed for the engaged couple in the presence of at least two witnesses, a translator/interpreter, and guests.
