Paper and abstract submission Papers and abstracts can be submitted through the abstract submission page on the 59 th WSC website (www.isi2013.hk). Virtual participation The 59 th WSC will be the first WSC which offers the option of virtual participation. Virtual participants will have access to real-time viewing of the speakers’ presentations and PowerPoint slides for about ten selected sessions via the Internet and may raise textual questions through the instant messaging panels. World Statistics Congress Hong Kong 2013 Short Courses and Satellite Meetings Short courses Short courses will be arranged before the 59 th WSC by the ISI and its Associations in Hong Kong. All the Congress delegates are welcome to participate in the courses which will be subject to a cost-based charge. Please visit the ISI website (www.isi-web.org/isi-wscs/short-courses) and the 59 th WSC website (www.isi2013.hk) for the list of courses and more information as it becomes available. Satellite meetings There will be several satellite meetings organised before and after the 59 th WSC in cities close to Hong Kong. A few satellite meetings are already announced.
