Programmed To Train
Dar Al Atta always comes up with new and consistent ways to finance and
help society. We had just found out that Dar Al Atta has announced that
they will finance a new initiative with Amideast. This initiative will train high
school graduates from Al Seefah on how to use Microsoft applications and the
internet; these skills will be used in both college and work life.
Maryam Al Zidjali, Head of Dar Al Atta, and Mohammed Al Touqi, a representative
from Amideast, met to sign the agreement in Muscat. Maryam Al Zudjali, Head
of Dar Al Atta said, “The launch of our latest programme in conjunction with
Amideast will provide the girls with the essential training they will need when
they are working. The ability to be able to write documents using Word and
create presentations and spreadsheets is essential, as well as the ability to
be able to search the internet when researching in preparation for particular
projects.
Dar Al Atta is known throughout the Sultanate for their ongoing initiatives with Oman's community, and Maryam shared with us on how this programme will benefit
people in the country saying, “We are confident that the training will give the girls the confidence and tools they need to start their working life in the best possible
position. Dar Al Atta would like to thank Amideast for their help and guidance in creating a training programme that is tailored to meet the needs of our 18 students
and we look forward to monitoring their progress”. For more information contact 24692996, and maybe you can be inspired to lend a hand too.
