Tetolon ® Fiber dome features a hemispheric-hyperbolic
profile for maximum rigidity and linear frequency
response beyond the audible range.
2 REN ® NEODYMIUM MAGNET
In every component, the motor assembly is centred
upon a REN ® Neodymium ring, capable of operating in
high heat conditions. ML 280 tweeter is equipped with
a double REN ® Neodymium magnet. The use of a REN ®
Neodymium magnet generates extraordinary energy,
for extremely high performance.
3 ALUMINIUM VOICE COIL & COPPER RING
The central pole piece is covered with a pure copper
sleeve. This combined with its CCAW double layer
voice coil wound on a Kapton ® former provides a linear
impedance, ensuring maximum power handling and
frequency extension, even when listened to off axis.
4 RENEWED CROSSOVER
The highest quality components, the Rubber Touch
case, a passive cooling system and a three position
level control: these features make this crossover
unique.
5 ALUMINIUM MAIN STRUCTURE
The use of aluminium permits a perfect control, contri-
buting to the reduction of unwanted resonances and
residual vibrations.
The main structure and the rear acoustic chamber of
the tweeter are CNC machined from a solid aluminium
block. The basket is also made from anti-resonant
aluminium alloy.
