Lyneham. During 2009, Air Charter Express was<br />

renamed to Meridian Airways.<br />

This is a new African start up company which was<br />

scheduled to have taken delivery of its first<br />

aircraft recently, a BAe.146 airliner, one of two it<br />

is believed to have leased from BASE Systems.<br />

Other than the carrier is to be based in Accra,<br />

no other details were available at the time of<br />

going to press.<br />
