1. Coral Exploration (Scuba Diving)<br />

Aliwal Shoal has become internationally recognized as<br />

one of the top 10 dive sites in the world. Diving<br />

The average sea temperature is 24° and almost never falls<br />

below 16° c. From July to November, the ragged tooth<br />

sharks are on the shoal in abundance, as they annually<br />

migrate to the shoal which is their preferred resting<br />

ground. The shoal is home to over 1200 species of fish, as<br />

well as turtles, rays, manta’s, angelfish and butterfly fish.<br />

Occasional sightings include great whites, tigers, white<br />

tips and whale sharks.<br />

It’s a wonderful family bonding experience interacting with<br />

nature, no interferences, and no cellphones. It’s an on-<br />

going experience where kids are allowed to do open water<br />

courses, its a mind blowing and life changing experience<br />

2. Shark Dive<br />

The Shark cage experience presents a greater challenge<br />

as you immerse yourself into a world of living sharks.<br />

Some sharks circle the cage whilst others glide slowly<br />

3. Snorkel Lagoon<br />

Get up close and personal with some of the most exciting<br />

creatures found off the KZN coastline, as you explore the<br />

nooks and crannies of the Snorkel Lagoon. Float above<br />

4. The Big Rush Big Swing<br />

<strong>Experience</strong><br />

For the ultimate ride of your life the ‘Big Rush Big Swing’<br />

at the Moses Mabhida stadium is a must. This is the<br />

world’s only stadium swing and the largest swing of any<br />

kind anywhere. Jump into the void 106 meters above the<br />

world cup football pitch and swing out in a huge 220 meter<br />

5. Inanda Dam - Camping and<br />

Picnic Sites<br />

Camping and picnic sites set on the water’s edge afford<br />

magnificent views of the surrounding hills and make this<br />

an ideal venue for water sport enthusiasts and nature<br />

lovers. Only 45 minutes from <strong>Durban</strong> on the Indian Ocean,<br />

Inanda is an easily accessible, large recreational dam.<br />

Inanda is an extremely popular site to enjoy all the thrills<br />

of jet skiing, power boating, yachting, fishing and even<br />

game viewing! Picnicking and camping with fully serviced<br />

ablutions is available.<br />

Boating: All forms of water sports are permitted. There is<br />

a demarcated area for jet skis.<br />

Angling: The dam has many species of fish. These include<br />

Bass, Tilapia, Carp, Barbel and Scalies.<br />

Self guided trail: A short self-guided trail wanders through<br />

a part of Mahlabathini Park, allowing visitors a chance to<br />

view some of the wildlife including many bird species and<br />

6. 1000 Hills <strong>Experience</strong> – Safari<br />

8. Splash Water World<br />

Dubbed by locals as “ Toti’s best kept secret.....” Splash<br />

Water World water park provides families with a full day’s<br />

entertainment. Situated on Amanzimtoti Main Beach, its<br />

mix of speed and body rides caters for both adrenaline<br />
