NIAF to Honor Leaders in Business, Science &<br />

Technology, Education, Philanthropy and Sports<br />

This year’s list of honorees is exemplary of <strong>Italian</strong> and<br />

<strong>Italian</strong> <strong>American</strong> Achievement! Clockwise from top:<br />

Geno Auriemma, Head Coach of the Gold Medal-winning<br />

USA Basketball Women’s <strong>National</strong> Team and Head<br />

Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Connecticut,<br />

will receive the NIAF Special Achievement Award in<br />

Sports; Ralph Izzo, Chairman, President and CEO of<br />

Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated (PSEG), will<br />

receive the NIAF Special Achievement Award in Science &<br />

Technology; Letizia Moratti, President of Friends of San<br />

Patrignano, will receive the NIAF Special Achievement<br />

Award in Philanthropy; Giovanni Ferrero, CEO of The<br />

Ferrero Group, will receive the NIAF Special Achievement<br />

Award in International Business; Mark Del Rosso, COO of<br />

Audi, will receive the NIAF Special Achievement Award in<br />

Business; and Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, will be<br />

honored as the oldest science academy in the world.<br />
