But that’s Greg’s style. He’s more of a behind-the-scenes supporter and a laid back guy
who never looks for recognition - just the satisfaction of being content with his choices.
And, although H.O.T. is not an agency, Greg has spent the last 37 years supporting local
agencies, helping them achieve their own goals and those of their clients.
Greg is held in high regard in the philanthropic arena. He quietly serves his community in
several capacities. He is a member of the board of directors for the Cherry Street Mission,
Ohio Ministry, and Calvary Assembly of God.
Although Greg works with many worthwhile organizations, it’s not titles that he seeks.
Years ago, while on his way to work, Greg drove past a small shelter on Broadway Street
and saw a line of people stretching outside the door. This both touched and alarmed him
as he realized the needs of those homeless people and how lucky he was to be in a position
to help.
Since then, Greg has been quite active in raising funds to help the needy of Toledo. He also
has instilled that philanthropic philosophy in his H.O.T. associates who, either individually
or as part of our team, support many worthwhile non-profit organizations in northwest
Ohio through donations, participating in events and serving on committees.
