Item" to my beloved daughter Patsey Fagan and her lawful heirs I give and devise at my death, one<br />
negro woman named Grace and if she should have issue, be it male or female my will and desire is<br />
that it should belong to my grandson Robert Fagan and if said negro Grace as above named should<br />
have more children than one it is my will and desire that they shall belong to the lawful heirs of said<br />
Patsey Fagan to come in rotation, that is younger than said Robert Fagan______________<br />
Item. To my beloved daughter Betsey Floyd and her lawful heirs, I give and devise in addition to what<br />
I have heretofore given her one cow & calf to be valued at Ten Dollars, after the death of my wife the<br />
property heretofore given her is one negro woman known by the (I belive that left out "name<br />
of") Beck. One negro boy know by the name of Joseph one ditto known by the name of Alex.<br />
Item To my beloved gransons, Samuel L. Kelly and Abner Kelly I give and devise at my death two<br />
negro boys, one by the name of William the other by the name of Anthony & at the death of my wife<br />
one negro woman named Dafney which said three negroes are to be equally divided between said<br />
Samuel<br />
& Abner, by my executors hereafter named and should eith of said Samuel L. Kelly or Abner Kelly die<br />
without heir I wish the surviving brother to inherit the whold of the others estate, and should they both<br />
die without heir, it is my will & desire that the whole of their property should be equally<br />
divided between my two daughters to wit Patsey Fagan & Betsey Floyd.<br />
Item. I also give and bequeath to my aforesaid Grandsons Samuel L. Kelly & Abner Kelly two feather<br />
beds with the furniture belonging to the same one for each, also to Samuel L Kelly one grey horse<br />
known by the name of Bob. To Abner Kelly one black colt, together with one cow & calf each at the<br />
death of my wife. Also one sow & pigs each - One pottle (?) and kettle (?) each with all my farming<br />
utensils all to be their property as before described at the death of my wife.<br />
Item. At the death of my wife my will and desires is that my negro man named Daniel should belong<br />
to my grandson Richard Floyd.<br />
Item. Lastly. It is my will & desire & I do therefore constitute and appoint my trusty friend Jessee<br />
Brashears & Drury Floyd Executors to this my last will & testament. In witness of all and each of the<br />
things therein contained I have set my hand and seal this 28th day of February 1817<br />
