CARoling!
Originally built as an automotive
showcase for the 1933 World’s
Fair in Chicago, the Ford Rotunda
was dismantled and moved to
Dearborn, Michigan, where it
served as an exhibition hall for
nearly three decades. In the 1950s
it was the fifth most popular tourist
destination in the U.S. Beginning
in 1953, the site was transformed
each December into an enchanting
holiday fantasy, drawing millions
of visitors. Today, aside from
the cost of gas, who wouldn’t want
a shiny new convertible under
their tree on Christmas morning!
