Lisa Ruiz-Gonzales Head Athletic Trainer Lisa Ruiz-Gonzales, MS, ATC, AT/L is Phoenix College’s Head Athletic Trainer and an Assistant Athletic Director. This is her fifth year as Head Athletic Trainer for Phoenix College. She received her B.S. in Exercise Science from Arizona State University and her M.S. in Sports Health Care from Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has been a part of the Phoenix College family and athletic training staff since 1999, initially starting as an athletic training student while attending ASU and continuing through as a graduate assistant while completing her master’s degree at ASHS. Lisa is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association, Arizona Community Colleges Athletic Trainers Association (ACCATA), and is currently licensed by the Arizona Board of Athletic Trainers. Lisa and her husband Emmett currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona. Athletic Trainers April Perotti ATC Assistant Athletic Trainer April Perotti, MS, ATC/L, is Phoenix College’s Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is her first year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Phoenix College. April has spent the previous 2 years as a graduate assistant here at PC while completing her master’s degree at ASHS. She received her B.S. in Athletic Training from Northeastern University in 2005 and an M.S. in Sports Health Care from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2007.
