<strong>Australian</strong> <strong>Seed</strong> <strong>Company</strong> was established in 1957. We specialise in the collection, processing and sale of tree and<br />

shrub seeds, particularly those of <strong>Australian</strong> origin. We also offer a wide range of <strong>Australian</strong> wildflower and native grass<br />

seeds.<br />

The company is owned by Bourne Forestry Services Pty. Ltd. (ABN 75 001 023 445), forestry consultants and forest<br />

managers, having over forty years experience in commercial forestry and the silvicultural requirements of <strong>Australian</strong> tree<br />

and shrub species.<br />

Canberra and Southern Tablelands – A range of seeds suited to the local conditions is carried by Lyndfield Park<br />

Nursery, 013 Oolong Road, Gunning – phone (02) 4845 1282, fax (02) 4845 1431. The Manager, Mr. John Weatherstone,<br />

has had extensive experience in tree establishment and the direct sowing of <strong>Australian</strong> native seeds. He has kindly<br />

authorised the inclusion in this catalogue of photographs of his award winning property at Gunning.<br />

Hunter District – Our seeds may be obtained through Kirkwood Produce Co. Pty. Ltd., John Street, Singleton – phone<br />

(02) 6572 2766, fax (02) 6571 1799. This well­respected firm has serviced the Upper and Lower Hunter Valley since<br />

1921. Mr. Marcus Kirkwood or his staff will be pleased to advise on the availability and supply of our range of native tree<br />
