The intelligent drive systems incorporated into the subaru
WrX include eTc which seamlessly translates commands from
the driver’s right foot to automatically select the optimum
throttle position for effortless performance. The eTc system
also considers the environment, optimising gas emissions and
fuel economy.
The subaru WrX engine has also been finely tuned to
deliver optimum power, torque, exhaust emissions,
fuel economy and idling stability via subaru’s active
Valve control system (aVcs ) which varies the inlet
camshaft timing. This helps the subaru WrX produce
an astonishing 195kW of power at 6,000rpm and
maximum torque of 343nm at 4,000rpm, providing
thrilling sports performance and drivability.
