Small and dainty!<br />
While weavers prefer longer leaves <strong>for</strong> kete<br />
(bags), whariki (mats) and potae (hats),<br />
shorter leaves can make a wide range of<br />
smaller decorative items. These can include<br />
ear-rings, putiputi (flowers) and floral<br />
bouquet, brooches or corsages, gift tags,<br />
and small containers and baskets.
