I <strong>am</strong> proud <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> <strong>an</strong> Americ<strong>an</strong> <strong>be</strong>cause of all of our scientific <strong>an</strong>d<br />
innovative achievements. From America c<strong>am</strong>e all sorts of inventions<br />
that have really ch<strong>an</strong>ged our lives – electricity, telephones, TVs, light<br />
bulbs, <strong>an</strong>d airpl<strong>an</strong>es, <strong>to</strong> n<strong>am</strong>e a few. Trying <strong>to</strong> imagine life without <strong>an</strong>y<br />
of these things shows you just how import<strong>an</strong>t these things are <strong>to</strong> our<br />
lifestyle, <strong>an</strong>d they all c<strong>am</strong>e from the USA.<br />
Not only is America already full of great minds, like Benj<strong>am</strong>in<br />
Fr<strong>an</strong>klin <strong>an</strong>d Thomas Edison, it attracts even more. Alex<strong>an</strong>der Grah<strong>am</strong><br />
Bell <strong>an</strong>d Al<strong>be</strong>rt Einstein moved <strong>to</strong> America from other countries, <strong>an</strong>d so<br />
did m<strong>an</strong>y other brilli<strong>an</strong>t inven<strong>to</strong>rs <strong>an</strong>d scientists.<br />
Americ<strong>an</strong>s were the first ones <strong>to</strong> get men on the moon <strong>be</strong>cause<br />
they were the ones who had enough inspiration <strong>to</strong> make a dre<strong>am</strong> that<br />
sounded crazy <strong>to</strong> others <strong>to</strong> in<strong>to</strong> a reality. Others may soon follow in our<br />
footsteps, but the US was first, <strong>an</strong>d people will remem<strong>be</strong>r that.<br />
America’s free nature attracts immigr<strong>an</strong>ts <strong>an</strong>d inspires innovation.<br />
People feel free <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> creative <strong>an</strong>d make crazy inventions, making the<br />
US a place full of patents that sometimes aren’t worth much, but<br />
sometimes are some of the most brilli<strong>an</strong>t ideas in the world.<br />
The United States of America is a country full of brilli<strong>an</strong>t minds, full<br />
of ideas <strong>to</strong> share with the world. This is why I <strong>am</strong> proud <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> <strong>an</strong><br />
Americ<strong>an</strong>.
