3 Delivery vehicle equipment<br />
3.1<br />
If further information regarding vehicle equipment under ADR is required, all<br />
hauliers and suppliers must have in their employ a Dangerous Goods Safety<br />
Advisor (DGSA) as a legal requirement.<br />

Guidance<br />
The following equipment must be installed<br />
3.1.1 All valve equipment must be accessible from ground level in order to minimise<br />
risk of fall from height.<br />
3.1.2 Vehicle brake interlocks, or other means to ensure that the vehicle cannot move<br />
while driver is on top of the vehicle. Hand rails must be installed on top of the<br />
delivery vehicle if the driver is required to climb on top.<br />
3.1.3 Emergency Secondary Safety Valve (ESSV) with a minimum of 3 emergency<br />
shut down valves at different locations on the delivery vehicle.<br />
3.1.4 Reversing camera, sensors, or other similar reversing aid.<br />
3.1.5 Reverse noise warning bleeper.<br />
3.2 ADR plates and equipment must be available and displayed on the<br />
delivery vehicle
