Brassline products should only be fitted after construction
and painting work have been completed to avoid
accidental marking.
Care
Brass products will eventually deteriorate and discolour.
The protective lacquer will be affected by exposure to the
elements (such as air pollution, sea air and dampness).
The lacquer will also be affected by physical and chemical
attack (including scratches and contact with corrosives and
solvents). 100% solid brass should be regularly polished with
Mr Sheen or similar wax polishes in order to maintain the
protective lacquer coating. Chrome plated brass should be
buffed with soft cloth.
re-LaCquerinG
Remove all existing lacquer with acetone or a lacquer
thinner. Polish the brass surface and re-lacquer with
Wattyl Incralac .
