Model: A8 Table Model 8 Valve + Rectifier superhet AC mains<br />

receiver. Two wavebands – Long & Medium.<br />

<strong>Cabinet</strong>: In walnut veneered plywood. Speaker fabric is silver with<br />

diagonal blue & black stripes. This was the first (<strong>of</strong> many)<br />

radio cabinet made in Britain <strong>to</strong> have a ‘landscape’ pr<strong>of</strong>ile.<br />

Date: 1932<br />

Price: £31 10s 0d. In November 1932 the price was reduced <strong>to</strong> £24<br />

0s 0d simply by omitting the matching stand.<br />
