`PAPCO´ TAPS and DIES
`Papco´ Taps and Dies are made of high carbon tool steel, heat treated to industrial specifications and packed in colour-coded,
protective packs. Long-life, plug type taps are chamfered for easy starting and cut clean accurate threads. Hexagon dies in sizes
to 1/2” and M12 are 1” across flats - larger sizes are 1-7/16” across flats. Use Die Stock No. 996-563 or wrench for driving dies.
`Papco´ Taps and Dies are available in NC (National Coarse), NF (National Fine); Metric Standard, Fine and Extra Fine thread
pitch - plus N.P.T. (National Pipe Thread) and B.S.P. (British Standard Pipe) for fittings on Import vehicles. Tap and drill sizes are
engraved on each tap - starting side and size engraved on dies.
