MENTORING EXPERIENCE<br />
2002-2007 Supervised five high-school students during six-week summer Secondary Student<br />
Training Program (SSTP) at the University <strong>of</strong> Iowa. Two <strong>of</strong> the students (John Levin in<br />
2003 and Marissa Fox in 2006) became semifinalists in the Intel Science Talent Search<br />
using the data collected during summer program.<br />
2003-2007 Supervised five undergraduate research assistants working at Wasserman’s Comparative<br />
Cognition Laboratory at the University <strong>of</strong> Iowa. One <strong>of</strong> the students graduated with<br />
honors, and two students became co-authors <strong>of</strong> the research papers.<br />
1998-2000 Supervised three undergraduate research assistants at Krushinsky’s Laboratory <strong>of</strong> Higher<br />
Nervous Activity at Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. All students graduated<br />
with honors, and one student became a co-author <strong>of</strong> the research paper.<br />
