AC PROCESSOR<br />
(Audio Co-Processor)<br />
One major feature of this AC processor is the use of 3D<br />
enhanced technology. This technology uses precise<br />
control of the frequencies, phases, st<strong>and</strong>ing waves,<br />
<strong>and</strong> reverberations to position the sound image as<br />
coming from the front of the vehicle, creating a 3D<br />
sound field with significantly improved width <strong>and</strong><br />
depth. The AC processor creates a realistic 3D sound<br />
field located in front of each listener no matter whether<br />
he or she is sitting in the driver's seat or passenger seat<br />
so that each passenger can fully enjoy the sensation of<br />
a front-row seat at a live performance.<br />
The AC processor features a Pro Mode for users who<br />
are particular about their sound settings <strong>and</strong> Std Mode<br />
for allowing users to easily recreate a high-quality<br />
sound space. Pro <strong>and</strong> Std modes allow you to create a<br />
sound field from either the Virtual Space Enhancer<br />
(VSE) or for the Digital Sound Field (DSF) <strong>and</strong> select the<br />
parametric equalizer <strong>and</strong> graphic equalizer for making<br />
your favourite settings for enjoying your music.<br />
•Digital Sound Field (DSF)<br />
The DSF is activated when Std Mode is selected.<br />
<strong>Clarion's</strong> new DSP chip developed with digital technology<br />
is used to create the illusion of a performance at a<br />
live house, concert hall, or other venue within your car.<br />
•Virtual Space Enhancer (VSE)<br />
The VSE can be set when Pro Mode is selected. It has<br />
been extremely difficult to produce the optimum sound<br />
field for each seat position. The VSE is able to direct in<br />
front to the listeners within the limited space of a car.<br />
