<strong>Suspension</strong> Assessment Procedure<br />

Please ask the following questions in order to supply the correct suspension kit<br />

• Vehicle Make – Model – Manufacture date - VIN number<br />

• Any additional items added to the vehicle<br />

Does the vehicle have constant Load Bearing Accessories (LBA)<br />

• Front suspension:<br />

Bull Bar – Winch – Dual batteries - Roof rack - Others<br />

• Rear suspension:<br />

Rear step bar – Tow bar – Wheel carriers – Draw compartments – LPG tank –<br />

Others – Extra fuel tank<br />

• Is the vehicle a work truck with tools and other work equipment?<br />

Does the vehicle have Variable Load Conditions (VLC)<br />

• Family wagon loaded with children and camping gear for weekend outing but unloaded<br />

at other times<br />

• Tows a boat or heavy trailer only laden occasionally<br />

• Does the customer want to raise the vehicle for extra ground clearance and only carry<br />

extra weight occasionally<br />

• Does the customer require a softer more comfortable suspension<br />

• What height does the customer desire<br />

Once you have determined the customer’s needs:<br />

• Constant Load Bearing Accessories (LBA)<br />

• Variable Load Conditions (VLC)<br />

• Extra ground clearance<br />

• Comfort ride suspension<br />

• <strong>Suspension</strong> height<br />

Then refer to the accessories list in this catalogue for approximate weights and interpret<br />

the correct suspension for the customer’s needs.
