Our Coil Spring Manufacturing Process<br />
Only the finest high stress material from One Steel is used,<br />
shipped to the plant in an annealed states, then bar peeled and<br />
polished to the exact size to remove all surface defects and cut<br />
to length.<br />
The material is heated in electric furnaces to 1000 degrees<br />
Celsius, formed on computer controlled machines and<br />
hardened by quenching in oil to achieve a hardness of 62 HRC.<br />
Spring end grinding is applied if required. Shot peening of the<br />
surface is completed to increase durability. Every spring is solid<br />
scragged, tested and a full and final inspection is carried out.<br />
All coil springs are powder coated for the most durable finish and ofering maximum presentation. The<br />
springs are finally labelled by inkjet, packed as pairs and ready for shipping.<br />
Large stocks are held for immediate supply.<br />
