CEN EN 12320<br />
CEN security rating is the European Standard for padlocks and<br />
padlock fitting. Ratings are awarded with the highest being 6<br />
to the lowest being 1. <strong>Squire</strong> Hi-security products meet the<br />
CEN EN 12320 Standard<br />
Keyed alike and master<br />
keyed services<br />
Throughout this price list, you will find that some of our locks<br />
are available either as a standard lock, Keyed Alike or Master<br />
Keyed. The text below explains what each type of lock can do,<br />
to assist you in your product selection.<br />
Keyed Alike - Where two or more padlocks can be operated<br />
with the same key. For 4 pin tumbler locks there are over 1000<br />
different Keyed Alike combinations, for 5 pin there are over<br />
1500 and for 6 pin tumbler locks there are over 250,000<br />
differed Keyed Alike combinations.<br />
Master Keyed - Padlocks keyed so that each padlock is<br />
different yet a Master Key will open them all. A Master Keying<br />
surcharge is applicable, see the footnote after each product<br />
listing.<br />
