NEWHAM
Imagine leaving footsteps in the
sand on a deserted beach,
Then feeling a lonely wind rush
through you.
It’s not like that here.
If you leave a foot step,
Many will follow,
Some may even show you the way.
Imagine a whole island to yourself
with palm trees and all,
But then seeing no one but yourself
for hundreds of miles.
It’s not like that here.
Every day you wake up to a new face,
Any shape, any size, any ethnicity
any thought.
Imagine everything done completely
around one culture, one religion,
Then realising that you need to be
more open minded, but how?
It’s not like that here...
