HEAD TO MANCHESTER FOR GIFTS GALORE
Looking for ideas to pep up your gift offering? Then hit the
north and take a trip to the Manchester for some inspiration.
The Manchester Gift Show in September will be over 50 per cent
larger than last year’s launch event. The trade only show promises to
build on its 2011 success and will be taking place at EventCity. The
north-west venue is a brand new exhibition complex which offers
easy access by road, rail or air, free WIFI and an enormous amount of
dedicated free parking directly outside the entrance.
It is hoped that the new location will make the show unique and
visitors will be entertained by so many exciting activities and glamorous
bars, cafes and international restaurants to choose from. It is also handy
for those visitors travelling from further a-field as they will have more
opportunities to enjoy themselves before and after the show.
Show visitors will have the opportunity to see a very broad
range of products covering giftware, British handmade crafts, textiles,
ceramics, glassware, handmade fragrance gifts and cosmetics, greetings
cards, children’s toys and accessories, home furnishings, fashion
accessories and much more.
Show organisers are particularly excited about the show’s new
British designer-maker area, featuring exceptional hand crafted
products. The will also be a live demonstration studio where visitors
will be able to experience the skill and creativity used to create some
of the items available at the show, plus some professional workshops
by acclaimed artisans. A full schedule of events will be published on
the Manchester Gift Show website just before the show.

MANCHESTER GIFT SHOW EXHIBITORS
Gift Time Products

style alarm clocks - with a twist. Instead of the
double bell alarm ‘ringing’, the clocks feature
a realistic sound of the animal or transport
depicted. There are eight different animal
models and five transport clocks and also an
amazingly loud Skull & Crossbones model.

gift box and is complete with three batteries. There is even a test
button accessible from the back of each box to hear the sound.
The Bug Store (also part of Gift Time Products) are really buzzing
with its fun and fast motorised Busy Bugs. There are four models
available – Ladybird, Cockroach, Spider (pictured), and Longicorn.
All are supplied on a bar-coded euro-hook blister card and come
complete with a replaceable button cell battery. The adjustable
legs make this product stand out from other, similar, models as
you can change the direction of travel - the company claim that
the products will provide many hours of fun

Beth Connors who designs and makes
contemporary little kits from the studio
at the bottom of her garden, based in the
historic spa town of Harrogate in North
Yorkshire. Connor’s cute brooch and key
ring kits are packaged in pretty, yet sturdy tins that are easy to display.
The kits themselves are simple to make and have a charming tactile
quality. All products are produced using lovingly sourced materials –
check out her new designs at the show.
