9 The earlier concept of this species included two currently accepted species, P. erikssonii (with
clampless hyphae) and P. aurantiaca (with clamped hyphae, on Alnus viridis and A. fruticosa in
subarctic and subalpine areas of Europe). The data listed in this entry evidently belonge to
P. erikssonii in Polissya, with certain likelihood of P. aurantiaca occuring in Carpathian region.
