9 The earlier concept <strong>of</strong> this species included two currently accepted species, P. erikssonii (with<br />

clampless hyphae) and P. aurantiaca (with clamped hyphae, on Alnus viridis and A. fruticosa in<br />

subarctic and subalpine areas <strong>of</strong> Europe). The data listed in this entry evidently belonge to<br />

P. erikssonii in Polissya, with certain likelihood <strong>of</strong> P. aurantiaca occuring in Carpathian region.
