3.3 Synergies with PIROP 3.3.1 Relevant international and regional instruments and arrangements There are numerous international and regional multi-lateral environmental agreements (MEAs) that are relevant when addressing the region’s aspirations under PIROP for a healthy ocean that sustains the livelihoods and aspirations of its peoples. Many of these are captured in the SPREP database16 for international and regional legal and policy.
