Players enter to change the set from paris to florence, in<br />
the style of Kelley <strong>and</strong> Whedon (Ally McBeal <strong>and</strong> Buffy the<br />
Vampire Slayer): magical realism.<br />

My wounded bird syndrome. The fact that, you know, I see somebody who I so hurt or<br />
lonely or sad or in pain, usually with such low self-esteem that I'm the only person who<br />
can save them.<br />
PLAYER ONE<br />
One time I had this great gig <strong>and</strong> every day I could really see I was helping people <strong>and</strong> I<br />
had so much love for them, it felt huge <strong>and</strong> I thought: this is it! this is what heaven feels<br />
like. This is universal love. Miraculous. But not in one burst of light, a continuity, a<br />
continuum of the miraculous, living inside the miraculous. Like what people say heaven<br />
is. But here, in the flesh.<br />
