CLIMATE. Alicante has an average temperature of 26.5° C in July and 13° C in January, with mild winters and hot summers. OPENING TIMES. Normal opening times for shops are from 10.00am to 2.00pm and from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday, although there are slight variations, and department stores open from 10.00am 10.00pm without closing for lunch.
