FACILITIES
Sacramento State trains at Technique Gymnastics located
near campus in Rancho Cordova, Calif. The Hornets have the
luxury of practicing in the 38,000-square foot facility which
is one of the largest and best equipped gymnastics training
centers in the West. The enormous facility allows Sacramento
State gymnasts to train throughout their practice session without
having to compete for time on the equipment.
Technique features three full-sized floors, a tumble track,
three vault runways and tables, eight competition beams and
four sets of bars. In addition, it also has over 17,000 square
feet of foam pits for added safety.
On campus, the team is able to condition in the Eli and
Edythe Broad Fieldhouse located on the south end of campus.
Under the watch of Strength and Conditioning Director Jared
Nessland and assistant Tom DiStasio, the Hornets perform
their workouts in a state-of-the-art 6,000-square foot weight
room.
