• Infection: mostly aerogen<br />

• Pathogenesis:<br />
– Proliferation in the epithelial cells of the<br />
airways<br />
• Rhinitis, laryngitis, tracheobronchitis,<br />
bronchiolitis<br />
• Feline tracheobronchitis, feline influenza<br />
• Secondary bronchoalveolar pneumonia<br />
Feline pneumonitis<br />
• Pathogen: Chlamydophila psittaci<br />
• Infection: mostly aerogen<br />
• Incubation: 3-5 days<br />
• Lesions:<br />
– conjunctivitis<br />
– Rhinitis (sneezing)<br />
