When it came to housing developments most wanted the
conversion of existing buildings, small groups of less than ten
units or single infill dwellings. Preservation of the unique local
character of the village is clearly an important consideration
for local residents. Self build projects won some support but
very few wanted larger groups of more than ten dwellings.
The Parish Council will ensure that the Village Design
Statement is revised, to take into account changes in
the Government’s planning framework.
