How about the center of gravity? Centroid (G) A median of a triangle is a line segment joining a vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side of the triangle. Examples: Thm 4.4 : The medians of a triangle meet at a point called the centroid (G). We can give an ugly proof now or a pretty proof later.
