GEFEG.FX – B2B Standards Editor
To define and explain usages of B2B messages a wide range
of tools may be used: a UML tool, an XML tool, a text
processor, a spreadsheet and separate sources for code
values on top.
One for all: GEFEG.FX combines message design and
message explanation functions in one comprehensive tool.
The tool’s specialisation in message design
creates exciting benefits like saving time and
efforts while increasing message specification
quality.
GEFEG.FX: The B2B Standards Editor
GEFEG - www.gefeg.com
Contains the ISO 20022 UML classes
Contains the external ISO 20022 codelists
Contains the standard MX schemas, with added value:
names, definitions, textual rules
Develop Message Implementation Guidelines. Generate
customized documentation (RTF,PDF,HTML) and XSD
IDoc or SWIFT.MT. Validate instances.
Interfaces to SWIFT.SDK, SWIFT.myStandards, ISO 20022
Registration Authority
GEFEG.FX: The ISO 20022 Data Model
GEFEG - www.gefeg.com
April 2012
The model can be imported from XMI 2.1,
obtainable from RA, as well as from SWIFT.SDK
product.

GEFEG.FX: External ISO 20022 Codes
GEFEG - www.gefeg.com
April 2012
Within GEFEG.FX, the codes are stored in a
relational database, and linked to the ISO20022
UML classes as well as to the MX Schemas.

GEFEG.FX: ISO 20022.MX Schemas
GEFEG - www.gefeg.com
April 2012
User-friendly text (notes) handling
These schemas contain names, definitions and
rules, and are linked to the external ISO 20022
codes

GEFEG.FX: Compare Schemas
GEFEG - www.gefeg.com
April 2012
The example shows the differences between
pain.001.001.03 and pain.001.001.04.
Double-cklick on a difference list entry leads to
the corresponding spot in both schemas.

GEFEG.FX: Market Practice Guideline
GEFEG - www.gefeg.com
April 2012
A schema guideline is like a transparent layer
over the original schema. It looks the same, but
contains only extra customisation information.
If the base schema is replaced by a later
version (e.g. from draft to final or from “003” to
“004”), all customisations are retained in the
transparent layer and automatically aligned
onto the newly updated base schema.

GEFEG.FX: Mapping
The mapping shows the relations between
the German legacy format “DTAUS” and the
SEPA Customer Credit Transfer.
