century by an astrologer named<br />
Basileus. In it he describes<br />
the building of a certain device.<br />
One that can see into the future,<br />
As legend has it, it was described<br />
to him while under demonic<br />
possession.<br />
(beat)<br />
Needless to say, his book didn't<br />
make the Best Seller's List.<br />
After reading it, the church<br />
burned him at the stake. His<br />
writings, however, survived.<br />
(looking around)<br />
I just can't believe he built<br />
it...<br />
ARTHUR<br />

KALINA<br />
Basileus' device. The Eye of<br />
Hell.<br />

CUT TO:<br />
62 INT. BASEMENT GLASS CORRIDOR - WITH RAFKIN AND MAGGIE 62<br />
Rafkin and Maggie continue down the dark corridor. A<br />
figure moves in and out of shadows following them.<br />
Rafkin notices the lurking ghost with the glasses.<br />
RAFKIN<br />
We got company...<br />
He hurries Maggie down the corridor. Suddenly,<br />
another figure, the Suicide, crosses the corridor in<br />
front of them, slipping into the shadows.<br />
