Chlodwig
dark bay · 16.3 hands · born 2009 · chilled semen
insemination fee 500 EUR
Chlodwig, who finished his 30-day-performance test with jumping scores up to 9.0 points
last year, inspires the breeders with an extremely interesting pedigree. Jumping literally
is in his blood: His father Calido is one of the truly great Holstein stallions. His offspring
have earned a total of 2.6 Million Euros. During 2012 he had 219 jumping horses successful
at S-level in Germany alone. With Coupe de Coeur and Nobless M he has fathered internationally
exceptional horses. They are joined by 50 active licensed stallions, among other
the second runner-up at the Holstein licensing in 2012.
Olympic blood also runs in the veins of Chlodwigs dam sire Quattro B, grandson of famous
Galoubet and therefore carrier of the important Almé-blood. Mother Queeny was
victorious in jumping horse tests. Highly interesting is grandmother Unity xx who as a
thoroughbred was successful at M-level jumping competitions. She harks back to Ticino
xx, champion stallion of the post war era, grandfather of legendary Vollkorn xx. Further,
she carries Wahnfried xx, who is -among others- sire of Der Löwe xx. Chlodwig – particular
blood for highest standards.
Licensed for Oldenburg, Westphalia, Rhineland, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and all southern German associations.
