Bursary criteria
Beurskriteria
A limited number of bursaries covering all study expenses
and pocket money (±R40 000) are available to new firstyear
students. To be considered for these bursaries,
students must meet the following requirements:
- write the admissions test;
- obtain an M-score of 24 with at least a C symbol on
the higher grade for both Mathematics and Physical
Science (for Information – both Mathematics and
Computer Science) in the final Grade 12 examination;
and
- register for one of the following degree courses:
- Engineering: Electronic, Mechanical, Mining
Metallurgical and Computer Engineering.
- Information Technology
- Natural and Agricultural Sciences: Biochemistry,
Chemistry, Geology and Food Science.
Bursary holders are required to conclude a service contract
with the donor, who reserves the right for employment.
