OUR STORY
Childhood friends and life time hockey teammates shared
a vision to create an unreal hockey brand that united snipers
around the world. They parted ways to their respective
universities and while living the lifestyle in their new towns,
stayed close through their love of hockey. They developed
an idea to deliver a premium quality product, at a price that
University beauties and beer league bandits could afford.
That summer the boys reunited on a hockey line and dedicated
themselves to the brand, teaming up with world renowned
Sports Artist Rob MacDougall, who happened to be
their childhood coach and mentor. We all know the hockey
community is a tight knit group, and we cherish the ability to
live hockey each and every day. MacDougall has worked with
legends such as Bobby Orr, Eric Lindros and Brendan Shanahan
to name a few. From Rock em’ Sock em’ covers to Professional
Sport logos (Toronto Rock of the NLL) all the way
to his many charitable pieces, Rob leaps ahead of anyone in
regards to sports designs and creativity.
Bardown is proud that its brand represents what hockey
players believe in. With dealers located across all of Canada,
from coast to coast as well as the US; Bardown is becoming
the fastest growing hockey apparel brand on the planet.
Bardown does not pay athletes or celebrities to endorse our
product; despite the fact that Bardown is worn by hundreds
of professional athletes. This gives us the passion and dedication
to keep delivering gear that players are proud to wear.
Bardown is the most prevalent term in hockey, and regardless
of what level players play, everyone has the opportunity
to make the iron sing and rattle goalies. People always say
don’t do business with friends, but we realize the people we
