Enviromental Philosophy<br />
<strong>Arbor</strong> <strong>Vetum</strong> is deeply committed to protecting the natural environment and was both founded<br />
on, and adheres to, strong environmental principles. In order to fulfill their environmental aims<br />
they do however prefer to follow the latin maxim “famam extendere factis” or “extending<br />
words by deeds” . They like action, not hype, and work very hard to ensure that they sustain<br />
these important objectives by running a viable and profitable business.<br />
Every single <strong>Arbor</strong> <strong>Vetum</strong> product is 100% made from salvaged and reclaimed teak timbers,<br />
eliminating the need to cut down living trees. They are internationally recognized for their<br />
commitment to this philosophy and are independently certified to the highest environmental<br />
standards by both the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and SmartWood and are producers<br />
of geneinely ecological furniture.<br />
