in economical, easy to use cartridge configurations.<br />

Agilent cartridge configuration<br />

Agilent’s flexible cartridge system<br />

has been thoroughly tested to<br />

ensure that the design <strong>and</strong><br />

hardware meet Agilent’s<br />

st<strong>and</strong>ards of quality. Finger-tight<br />

connections allow rapid column<br />

changes without removing the<br />

capillaries from the end fittings.<br />

The same convenient, easy-touse<br />

cartridge holder accommodates<br />

2, 3, 4 <strong>and</strong> 4.6 mm diameter<br />

cartridges of varying lengths. The<br />

cartridge columns have a unique<br />

Agilent‘s reusable guard cartridge<br />

holder provides <strong>for</strong> rapid<br />

exchange of inexpensive guard<br />

columns, which are used to<br />

protect valuable columns from<br />

damaging samples.<br />

This st<strong>and</strong>-alone system is<br />

suitable <strong>for</strong> both 2.1 <strong>and</strong> 4.0 mm<br />

id. guard cartridge columns. It<br />

can be connected by capillaries<br />

to different st<strong>and</strong>ard fitting <strong>and</strong><br />

cartridge columns.<br />

To ensure leak-free <strong>and</strong> minimum<br />

dead-volume connections, Agilent<br />

recommends using ¼ inch<br />
