• GOOD QUALITY SLOW GROWN SCANDINAVIAN PINE (REDWOOD) – Harvested<br />
from slow grown trees 80 -100 years old producing timber with around 20 growth<br />
rings per 25mm 2 , kiln dried prior to machining and treatment. Result is that stability<br />
is improved, making our deckboards less prone to movement such as shake, splitting<br />
or cupping. Also the smoothness of machined finished is much improved.<br />
• MACHINED IN HOUSE BY RIDGEONS FOREST PRODUCTS – we control the quality of both raw<br />
material and machining, producing timber decking of consistent quality with smooth planed finish.<br />
• 15 YEAR DESIRED SERVICE LIFE WARRANTY – Timber preservative protection against rot and wood<br />
boring insects. Pine (Redwood) deckboard pressure treated with timber preservative performs far better<br />
than Spruce (Whitewood)<br />
• GROOVED ON BOTH FACES – allows best face to be<br />
selected when laying deckboards<br />
