To My Little Brother Ty:
WOW!! How time flies. In 10 months you will be a
teenager. My handsome, thoughtful, loving,
headstrong and sometimes defiant young man.
Mommy wishes great things for you. Last season
was a little hard on you and you held on with both
hands, STRONG! I’m so proud of you. This
season is yours for the taking, so go for it!

Congratulations on a great season. I am extremely proud of you, beyond belief. When I
think back on the times when I used to call you “Moo Moo”
and you would call me “Ashey” (because you were too
young to be able to pronounce words with Ls) tears come to
my eyes because I see how much you’ve grown. This year, I
was able to see you at practice and see how much
dedication you put into the sport that you love. I hope you’ll
always be as confident about yourself as I am about you.
I am proud of you Ty. No just “Ty, the football player,” but
“Ty, my brother, my driving force of inspiration, my hope of
the future, my belief in all that is good.” You make me look forward to parenthood
because just the simple fact that my child has the ability to be at least half as amazing as
you are makes it all worth it. I will ALWAYS be there whenever you need me and even at
times when you feel like you don’t need me because that’s what a big sister is for so get
used to it Ty.
Best of love (not luck, because you have all the skills necessary to rise to the top) in the
season to come and the bright future ahead of you. I love you with my ENTIRE
EXISTENCE!!!
