Telecourses<br />
INFORMATION FOR TELECOURSE STUDENTS:<br />
Telecourse instruction incorporates video programs, textbooks,<br />
study guides and/or lab manuals, and on-campus review sessions<br />
with BCC instructors.<br />
Attendance is required at orientation (first review session) and all<br />
sessions where exams will be given. Individual instructors may<br />
require additional attendance. Please note mandatory attendance<br />
requirements for lab science and foreign language courses.<br />
There are several ways you can view the video programs. BCC telecourses<br />
are broadcast by the college campus television station. To<br />
view this way, you will need access to The <strong>College</strong> Channel on<br />
AT&T Cable Channel 28 to <strong>Bellevue</strong>, Redmond, Kirkland,<br />
Issaquah, Juanita, Woodinville, Bothell, and Mercer Island. Some<br />
viewers are now able to get our programming in the Auburn,<br />
Black Diamond, Kenmore, Kent, North Bend and Renton areas.<br />
Videotapes used in the telecourses are also available for viewing<br />
and/or overnight checkout from the Library Media Center on<br />
campus. There is no charge for this service.<br />
Students registered in a telecourse may also rent sets of videotapes<br />
for a non-refundable fee of $30/set/quarter. The tapes must<br />
be returned at the end of the quarter.<br />
