Watson, 1983. Hard to walk past this one! A distinctive plant with an overall formal effect, but the deep rose flowers set off by a gold flare are definitely NOT! The compact, full truss sits on an "Elizabethan collar" of wide dark green leaves. Very cold hardy and a robust grower which is becoming more popular. Zones 5-7.
