The sugarcane fiber (pith & rind) is washed and
dried at 80 oC, then ground
Virgin polypropylene is

Sugarcane fiber (pith & rind) and virgin polypropylene are
blended through extrusion
at temp 190 o C and screw speed 70-170rpm
The compounded material is then injection molded at a
temperature of 170 o C and pressure of 28%
The specimens are then subjected to tensile testing,
density and MFI determination
The tensile strength, elongation modulus and
break strain
