Opening Message for 'Tour de Korea 2013'

We extend a warm welcome to all of our participants from Korea
and around the globe concerned in 'Tour de Korea 2013', the
silvery festival with passion and heart!
'Tour de Korea', the international road cycling race is celebrating
its 7th anniversary this year. It has been started to improve the
standards of Korean cycling and contribute to healthy and vibrant
lives of the whole nation by revitalization of riding a bicycle.
In the meantime, thanks to all the riders' for their passion and
that of their support teams, 'Tour de Korea' has grown up to be
one of the best road cycling festivals in Asia. Also, it has
contributed to Korea becoming a healthier country.
Korea Sports Promotion Foundation promises you to put efforts
into increasing the value of 'Tour de Korea' as the years go by.
To achieve this, we will try our best to expand the trend of riding
a bike which is important to support the environment and our
health. As we improve the level of the race, 'Tour de Korea' will
be the sports event best representing Korea on the world stage
in the style of the Tour de France.
The most important thing about riding a bike is not only to support
the environment and our health, but it also solves traffic
problems.
We hope this race will provide momentum to prove cycle's
real worth and become a leader of environment-friendly culture.
In conclusion, we wish you good luck and know you will perform
your best during the race.
