delivering quality light at a fraction of the energy consumption that we were 

previously using. However, from a maintenance point of view, the savings are 

significant. PLS gave us a virtually maintenance-free solution that has been in 

flawless operation since December 2011. We are no longer spending valuable 

time and money on replacing failed light bulbs and fittings.

Nightlight 

Many of our LED panels can be 

supplied in a nightlight version, which 

allows the light to be switched from 

100% to 20% power for night time use.

120W Flood Light

We wanted to focus on a lighting design in order to create the illusion of a 

Caribbean island at dusk / dawn. PLS created bespoke colour rendering to suit 

our needs and the resultant light provided by our new floods illuminates the 

features of the water park whilst being extremely crisp and sharp. The lights are 

performing as they should do - illuminating instantly and producing excellent 

light quality - therefore I am extremely pleased with them.

Our LED T8 lamps require no external driver which 

means for a very simple retrofit solution, whilst, on 

average, saving 70% in energy usage. Our capacitor-less 

technology means greater reliability and longer life. 

The T8 lamps also typically save around 70% in 

electricity and are an extremely low maintenance 

solution. Proximity sensors are also an option with 

the T8 lamps, providing instant intelligence as well as 

further savings. Sensitivity is easily adjusted to suit your 

installation. 

PLS have designed and developed one of the UK’s first 

360º LED tubes. This allows for LED tubes to be used in 

luminaires with reflectors and other applications where 

360º output is essential, whilst providing the energyefficiency 

of LED without loss of light quality. 

LED Tubes typically save in excess of 

70% of electricity costs with the added 

benefit of being a very low maintenance 

solution.

We had a total mix of technology in the Central Warehouse, using LED Panels, 

High Levels and Floods. It all works really well. The driving force behind this 

install was mainly energy savings but we have gained much greater light levels. 

The Central Warehouse is quite a large and busy working area and before we 

had the new lighting installed, at the end of each shift it took someone over 20 

minutes to go round and turn all the lights off - if they even knew where all the 

switches were! Now, with the lights having sensors, they can just all walk out
